Evaluation of the effects of dental fluorosis (DF) on the oral health related life quality between 11–14 years school children in Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa

Background: Teenagers' classroom absences were correlated with oral health issues including dental problems. In contrast to severe traumas, gingivitis and periodontal disease have been shown a negative effect on Oral Health-related Quality of Life (OHRQoL) in teenagers. Objective: The research's objective was evaluate how Dental fluorosis affected kids aged 11 14 terms their quality life condition-specific influence daily performance. Methods: This cross-sectional study conducted Between February 2021 March 2022, examine the effects DF OHRQoL among students Peshawar's fluoridated areas. 240 Peshawar-based school children between ages took part research. Results: mean CS OIDP score for high areas 38.84. Additionally, it demonstrates that struggle most socialising (7.87), which has highest score, eating (3.14), lowest score. Conclusion: findings this research can serve as warning conduct demographic at town county level identify risk variables determine potential treatments prevention methods.
